CAROLYN
Saturday and Sunday 2pm-8pm
I got my first job in radio when I was 16. I answered an ad (on the radio) and got a weekend job as a DJ at a little station in Panama City, Florida. I continued my radio work at the AM 850 WRUF/ Rock 104 at the University of Florida, winning an Associated Press award for a radio news report I did on a motorcycle club. After graduation, I became a news reporter in Panama City. I also had a part-time job at classic rock, Top 40 and soft rock stations in town. My love of radio took a back seat to my television career, which took me to Orlando, West Palm Beach, and finally here to the city I love the most, New Orleans. Now out of television, I’m thrilled to be back on the radio playing the music I listen to the most!
